The Dominant Jean: Wear Patchwork Like a Pro
Much like statement jewelry, patchwork jeans are bold and brilliant, and, like any star, they take center stage. Many people make the mistake of over-shadowing the dramatic jean by pairing them with tops or shoes which also embody multiple patterns, colors, and/or vibrancy. Here in a special post for Forage Fashion, we show you how to let unique and stylish jeans carry you to fashion fabulous.
1. The Plain White Tee is probably the most obvious choice. You can stay on the casual side, or even dress the outfit up with heels and elegant jewelry. Remember: If your jeans are fitted, try a loose, flowing top. If your pants are more of a boyfriend style, play around with a fitted white tank or tee.
2. Play with Pattern! The patchwork will undoubtably reign supreme in patterns. Don't be shy about playing with a little pattern on top. Keep the color neutral, and the pattern isolated and minimal.
3. Pull Out Subtle Colors in your enhanced jeans. If your patchwork contains soft flowers, winding vines, or dancing paisleys, seek out one of the understated hues. Wearing a shirt in this color will pull it out and look chic!
4. Pair Patchwork with a Neutral, particularly if bold colors enrich your jeans. This creates a soft, effortless look letting you rock those trendy jeans.
